Why Families Choose Porchlight Puppies

Raised with Heart
Always raised inside our home – our puppies learn life alongside kids, coffee cups, and everyday Georgia chaos. It’s why Porchlight pups grow up confident, cuddly, and ready for adventures!

Health Comes First
Healthy parents are the first step to healthy puppies. We health test all parent dogs and send every pup home with vet care and a genetic health warranty.

Peace of Mind Over Prestige
We don’t believe in luxury markups. Our puppies are priced for peace of mind, not designer status – making family-raised companion puppies more accessible for regular families.

Small, Sweet, and Simple
We specialize in soft coats, sweet natures, and small Cavalier mix and Doodle mix puppies that are easy to love and easy to live with – even for first-time dog owners.
About Our Program
We’re a small, family-based breeding program in Northeast Georgia, raising sweet, soft, easygoing dogs for real-life families – chaos, crumbs, and all.
Our focus is on Cavalier mixes and Doodle mixes, including favorites like Miniature Goldendoodles, Cavapoos, Beagliers, and other small companion pups with roots in similarly gentle, people-loving breeds. Every pairing is chosen for temperament first – affectionate, mild-mannered dogs who are just as happy curling up with your toddler as they are tagging along for your latest adventure.
All our puppies are raised right inside our home, smack in the middle of everyday life (yes, including the occasional spilled snack and the terrifying roar of the vacuum cleaner). Parent dogs are Embark DNA tested, and we’re busily expanding into OFA certifications as well. Puppies go home at 8 – 10 weeks with age-appropriate vet care, deworming, and a one-year genetic health warranty.
We don’t believe good dogs should be out of reach. Our goal is to place puppies that feel like they were always meant to be yours – from the very first cuddle!
Tails from the Porch
Puppy updates, homestead happenings, and real-life ramblings from our front porch to yours! Whether we’re announcing a new litter, sharing tips for puppy parents, or telling you why our toddler just ate dog kibble – this is where the good stuff lives.
Why Porchlight Puppies Breeds More Than One “Breed” (And Why That’s a Good Thing)
Why we intentionally use multiple breeds – and why temperament, health, and real-life family compatibility matter more than sticking to a single “breed name.”
What We’re Grateful for This Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving feels like the right time to slow down and look at the good stuff. This year has been chaotic and loud, but our dogs, our puppies, and the families who love them keep reminding us why we do this work.
Why I Breed Mutts (and No, It’s Not Because I Hate Shelter Dogs)
A Georgia-based dog breeder explains why she raises Cavapoos and doodles for real families – not purebred show dogs or shelter projects.
